About Us

Anima8 was started up by an animation degree student. The student found that the web had a lot to offer to the animation community. Among the sea of clips of 'kids crashing their skateboards' that is YouTube, you occasionally find a short animated clip. Now these animations have a real home, away from the Paris Hilton clips (and, hopefully, the juvenile flaming in the comments sections). The purpose of this site is for new and old animators to come to a central place where they can share their works and get inspirational ideas from the works of others.
